Whether it's a personal celebration, corporate event, community gathering or special occasion, I believe a good MC should help people feel comfortable, connected and part of what is happening. I take the time to understand the event, the people involved and what you want the occasion to feel like, In the day, I help guide the program, introduce speakers and contributors, keep things moving and step in when needed. My experience working with people, facilitating groups and speaking to different audiences has taught me how important it is to read the room and know when to lead, when to listen and when to simply let the moment unfold. For me, being an MC isn't about being the centre of attention. It's about bringing people together, creating flow and making sure everyone can relax and enjoy the occasion.
